Nicole left me. Only for (less than) a week, but regardless. No matter how short of a duration, it's pretty much the equivalent of leaving a three legged puppy to fend for it self in the desert. In order to survive, I'm left to mine whatever edible ingredients we have left in the refrigerator. On the bright side, I invented the hot sauce pizza omelette.

On my run today, I just so happened to run part of a 100 mile endurance race (the opposite way so I could cheer for the runners). These people are like literal superheros to me. Just being in the same area encouraged me to run .1 of what they were doing instead of the .08 I was planning on.
