After a full year and five months, I think any remaining delusions of my non-meat eating are on their very last legs. I still lie to myself and order vegetarian things like mushroom sandwiches, but I allow them to put bacon on it. Amazing bacon. I want another one right now.
Speaking of vegetables, my pepper plants are starting to grow little buds. I think this is the first time that I've ever intentionally grown anything that's progressed this far. One time we had potatoes that grew roots in our cupboard, but I don't think that those count. What definitely counts is the cat grass that Nicole has been growing (which pretty much grew over night) so the cats can graze like little cows.
