I know my blog has been totally lazy and sucking recently, but I took a somewhat serious photograph today. Somewhat.

These might just look like a random pair of colorful socks, but they aren't. They are 3rd Place in Age Group Trophy Socks from the half marathon that I ran in a hurricane today. As such, they will live on my fireplace mantle with my other running prizes. Even though they are a random pair of colorful socks.

We haven't had a working printer ever since Sienna learned how to break printers (yes pluralized). Today we decided to tempt fate. We'll see how long this one lasts.

I've use the Nike GPS/website to track my running ever since I first started seriously keeping track of it (a little over a year and a half ago). The other day I got an email asking me to complete a survey for them. I gladly obliged when they told me that I would receive a free shirt as a reward. I wasn't really convinced since it all sounded too good to be true, but it was. Today I got a free (expensive) shirt just for running, and I'm pretty positive that this is the closest to being "sponsored" as I will ever get in my whole "career."

Some people have the grand life aspirations of procuring the biggest house with the most stuff they possibly can. My delusionally ideal dream in life is to get rid of everything I own (that I don't absolutely need) and drive around the country living in a camper.
