While cleaning the house today, there was a
horrible, near fatal vacuum cleaner accident involving our cat Mushroom's first and favorite toy. She bonded with this owl when it kept her company through laundry room quarantine when we first brought her in the house. We quickly scrambled for an old sock, thread, catnip, and cotton to try and resuscitate owl from critical condition.
I sew things. Post surgery, I think Mushroom
approves of Franken-owl. Especially now that he's full of more and stronger catnip.
